Proposals are requested for technical papers, workshops, panels, and product/service showcases that define ideas and techniques that have been applied successfully. Abstracts that address any and all topics related to ammonia refrigeration are invited. Abstracts that focus specifically on the underlying science and technology of ammonia refrigeration will receive preferential consideration. Some of the topics of interest include:

Equipment selection
System design/load estimating
Energy analysis
Maintenance/operations
Regulatory compliance
Problem solving/reverse engineering
Innovative approaches to:
- Mechanical integrity audits
- System design
- System control
- Plant retrofits
Unique uses of ammonia as a refrigerant

(Paper presentations that include non-proprietary computer design tools that may be posted as freeware on the IIAR website will also receive preferential consideration.)

Proposal deadline: April 1, 2008
First draft due: June 15, 2008

IIAR offers each technical paper's primary author a complimentary registration for the 2009 meeting. The two highest rated technical paper presentations receive the Andy Ammonia Award and the primary author of each receives complimentary registration for the 2010 meeting as well.

Topics other than those listed above will be considered; however abstracts submitted under the categories above will be given first priority.
