Welcome to Milwaukee!
Milwaukee’s official tourism slogan is “This is why I come to Milwaukee,” and you don’t have to read too
much further to realize that this city is packed with great museums, beautiful historic buildings, top notch
shopping and, of course, the breweries.
This March, IIAR will host the world’s largest meeting dedicated exclusively to industrial refrigeration at
the Frontier Airlines Center. The Hilton Milwaukee City Center, a classic downtown Art Deco building recognized as
the city’s finest historic hotel, is the headquarters hotel and will host the spouse hospitality room.
 Combining its 1920s era grandeur and elegance with modern convenience, the luxury hotel
features beautifully appointed guestrooms and indoor skyway access to the convention center.
The hotel’s classic lounges and proximity to the best downtown dining options offer great
networking and entertainment venues, while the most exciting feature for families looking to

IIAR has negotiated a favorable basic room-rate of $177 per night for conference attendees.

and IIAR have teamed up to offer guests transportation service as
part of IIAR’s optional tours designed to make it easy to take advantage
of everything the city has to offer. Located close by, Hyatt Regency
accommodations are also available at a special, $175 room-rate. The
convention center is accessible from both hotels via a covered walkway.
