The IIAR Technical Paper sessions are the premiere forum for exchanging new ideas, technology, theories, and methodologies in the ammonia refrigeration industry. Energy saving strategies, maintenance problems, mathematical simulations, and experimental studies are consistently presented for many different ammonia refrigeration applications. An oral presentation at the conference compliments the written, peer-reviewed paper which is published in the conference proceedings. The rigorous peer-review process ensures high quality, applicability and timeliness of the topic for the industry. In addition to the recognition of publishing a scholarly work, the best paper each year based on conference participant surveys receives the Andy Ammonia Award. Technical papers in the conference proceedings become a part of the permanent technical reference library for the ammonia refrigeration industry, available through IIAR.
