The mission of the International Committee (IC) is to promote the safe and efficient use of Ammonia and other natural refrigerants through membership and participation in the IIAR, the distribution of IIAR Standards, training materials and safety publications directly or through alliance with refrigeration organizations globally.

About the International Committee
The International Committee was reconstructed as a formal IIAR Committee in 2012. It is divided into ten regions in order to better communicate the industry  needs and initiative of each country around the world. The International committee works with allied associations, IIAR Chapters and individuals to implement the strategic objectives determined by IIAR's Board of Directors.
