The IIAR and the Industrial Refrigeration Consortium (IRC) have teamed up to deliver a live on-line training workshop entitled the Fundamentals of Mechanical Integrity for Ammonia Refrigeration Systems. This program will be a synchronous training event delivered in real time. Registrants will be able to interact with teachers and students during the duration of the class. They will also be able to ask questions of the instructors directly.
Audience: PSM coordinators, utility supervisors, refrigeration operators/technicians, consulting engineers, contractors
Learning objectives:
- Develop a foundational understanding of regulatory requirements that relate to managing the mechanical integrity of ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Become familiar with the codes, standards, and guidelines applicable to mechanical integrity for all ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Understand the various mechanisms that degrade the mechanical integrity of ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Basic principles applicable to conducting mechanical integrity inspections for piping and pressure vessels.
