Highlights From the 2019 IIAR Natural Refrigeration Conference & Expo

 2019 IIAR Conference & Expo at the Phoenix Convention Center
 
The 2019 IIAR Conference & Expo was an inspiration for our attendees. With industry represenation from all facets of the natural refrigeration community, this year's conference brought us lots of new opportunities for growth.  This year we had more than 1,600 in attendance and over 150 exhibitors. We were proud to have broadened our education program to include partnership with the North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council (NASRC). Together, IIAR and NASRC were able to produce a Commercial and Food Retail Refrigeration Track. The conference this year was ideal for building industry relationships and gaining insightful information about up and coming trends in the natural refrigeration industry.

The 2019 Technical Program 
The IIAR Technical Program is the core of our Annual Conference. IIAR publishes the technical presentations at each year's conference and provides access to digital copies to all conference attendees. We also offer PDH CEU credits which can be applied to your continuing education or professional development.

The Energy Efficiency Education Program 
This year the IIAR Natural Refrigeration Conference & Expo Sunday Education Program focused on Energy Efficiency in Natural Refrigeration Systems. This program gave an overview of energy management in an industrial ammonia refrigeration system, discussed key opportunities for energy savings in industrial refrigeration, and enlightened us about how to operate compressors for optimal energy efficiency.
                                      

Monday Night Networking Event at The Duce  
Our Monday night networking event at The Duce gave our conference attendees a fun night to relax and network with other professionals in their industry. We even hosted an IIAR Committee challenge that ramped up the gaming competition.  Thank you to Colmac Coil Manufacturing and EVAPCO, Inc. for sponsoring our evening entertainment!
