  • Release of IIAR 8: Decommissioning of Closed-Circuit Ammonia Refrigeration Systems
  • Release of the updated Ammonia Data Book
  • New Guidance Documentation – PPE – Personal Protective Equipment and Maintenance
  • Release of new Lockout/Tagout Guidelines
  • New NRF research projects such as CFD Modeling of a machine room with an ammonia refrigerant leak and the evaluation of alarm level ventilation rates on leak dispersion. 
  • New committee, Energy Sustainability Committee, begins their work
  • 50th Annual Conference will be held in Palm Springs, California.
