OVERVIEW

Lockout/tagout procedures help ensure the control of hazardous energy during servicing and/or maintenance of machines and equipment where employees may be exposed to unexpected energization, startup, or release of stored energy. 

This webinar will examine the importance of lockout/tagout procedures as a crucial safe work practice, review the regulatory requirements, and cover application criteria for their use. We will also explore relevant definitions, proper communication, periodic inspections, training and retraining, certification, and additional requirements for lockout/tagout compliance.
