The selection of the Olympic Training Center for the Monday night venue is timely as the 2018 IIAR Conference takes place in an Olympic year. In 2018 the XXIII Winter Olympics were held in PyeongChang, South Korea.
Promising to be one of the best conference events yet, we are very excited about this opportunity. Attendees will be able to stroll through the multi-million dollar state-of-the-art facilities equipped with the latest technology in Olympic Training including both high altitude and low altitude training experiences.
A short distance from the Broadmoor Hotel, the Olympic Training Center boasts more than 65,000 square feet of training and meeting space to enjoy which includes boxing and martial art facilities, elite training gyms, and of course, the pool that every Olympic swimmer who has ever won a gold medal for the United States has trained in.
The U.S. Olympic Complex in Colorado Springs is the proud flagship training center for the U.S. Olympic Committee and the Olympic Training Center programs. It is the year-round home to athletes and coaches as they train for the next Olympic Games. As part of the IIAR event, athletes will guide you through the facility and describe how they are preparing for the Olympics. There will be athletic demonstrations including fencing, gymnastics and Olympic shooting. There will even be the potential for interactive fun at the shooting range – More details to come…

The event begins at 6:30 PM on Monday March 19th, 2018. Bus pickup will begin at 6:00 PM at the Broadmoor Hotel outside the Broadmoor Hall and at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort's main entrance. Buses will run to and from the event for the duration of the night.
There will be an Olympic Torch Lighting Ceremony at 7:00 PM. Please join us to celebrate our event!
